I recently visited this amazing visitor center and I was pleasantly surprised by how informative and engaging it was! The staff were incredibly friendly and eager to share knowledge about the dam's history and its importance in the area. There are interactive displays that really engage both kids and adults, making learning fun. I particularly enjoyed the short video presentation that gave a fantastic overview of the dam's construction and its impact on local wildlife. The gift shop was another highlight; I found some unique souvenirs and educational materials that were reasonably priced. The surrounding area is just beautiful, perfect for a leisurely walk after visiting the center. The only minor drawback was that some of the displays seemed a bit dated and could use an update, but overall, the experience was fantastic! I took my family to this visitor center, and we had such a wonderful time! The staff were incredibly welcoming, and they provided us with a ton of information about the dam and its history. The kids loved the interactive displays, especially the one where they could simulate controlling the water flow. It made learning about the dam so much fun for them! We also enjoyed walking around the outdoor area; the views were stunning and provided great photo opportunities. One small issue was that the signage could have been a bit clearer in some areas, especially for first-time visitors trying to navigate the exhibits. But overall, it was a fantastic family outing, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for an enjoyable and educational experience!
